Decorating your bedroom wall with a string of lights and clipped Polaroid pictures is a trend these days. It brings in a whole new aesthetic vibe that makes you feel chic and fancy. But to get Polaroid pictures you need a Polaroid camera or a photo printer and most of us don't have access to those. So in this post, I will be showing you how you can super simply DIY Polaroid pictures!
What you'll need:
Paper
Printed image
Transparent sticker paper (optional)
Scissors
This tutorial is for a 10x7cm card with a 6x5cm photo allowance. You can make them to suit any size you prefer with a few easy adjustments.
Step 1
Cut out the above shape from an A4 paper. Make sure you leave glue tabs as shown in the figure above. They are used to give the frame a smoother finished look so you can avoid using glue tabs if you don't want to.
Step 2
Fold in the the inner glue tabs and stick them on as shown below.
Step 3
Print the image you want to turn into a Polaroid picture. Recommended size: 7x6cm.
In this case, I've used a sketched girl for demonstration purposes. You can also stick on a piece of transparent sticker paper over it to get a more photo like effect.
Step 4
Flip the image over and stick it onto the frame you made previously.
Step 5
Now fold over the outer glue tabs as shown below and stick the right half of the frame onto it.
And we're done!
